Recently Microsoft decided to pull the downloads for IE 5.01 and 5.5 off their site. They also took it off of the windows updates servers so the normal iesetup.exe for IE 5 does not work either, because it has to download components in order to install. I cannot seem to find a download for the full IE 5.01 and IE 5.5 SP2 anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find these?

I dont know what os you are using but you can add windows components from add/remove programs. Try uninstalling IE then loading the fresh install of it from your OS CD and upgrade to what ever version you want.

I have a full download on a cd I saved so I could reinstall. If you want to shoot me an IM I could upload it somewhere for ya. It's of 5.5.
