why would you say that things turns off but fans still run?

how can fans still run when they are turned off?

listen, its ACPI...
perhaps you should do some research on google first before showing that loggahead tickled brain of yours

i tell you that things turn off while the fans still run.. because that's what happens! you're trying to tell me that a motherboard with all of these features.. http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/sock...c/overview.htm is not acpi compliant? loggahead....

i've reinstalled several times since it started for various reasons..
I use all new hardware except my floppy so i dunno what wouldn't be compliant.. and i just restarted and looked through my bios.. just like before.. nothing close to relevant.. think i'll look into given it a flash..

you know what.. don't bother.. cuz i tried getting the latest bios.. but my mobo didn't agree with what asus said was the correct bios.. and i finished flashing.. it said press a key to reboot.. and that was the end of that.. i have no p4t533-c anymore.. i'm using my good ol' p3 again.. I don't know how to get new bio chips and don't care anymore.. i'm through with that mobo.. i already have the ram on ebay.. (see 4sale) and the mboard i'm not too sure what to do.. but it'll prob go up there too... and heck.. might as well put the processor on there too since i'll prob get an nforce2.. thanks for the acpi crap
