if you're on a linksys, then just set yourself on the DMZ that *should* work (though of course it'll take out all the protections of the firewall). type in the IP of the router (prolly 192.168.1.1) and user: <blank> password: admin (that's the default settings. if they've been changed you'll need to do some asking around to get it to work. (btw, routers are not hardware firewalls per se)
