Default 5700 vs 9600

Battle of the middleweights. An unusually written article but a good read.
See which card comes out on top at Neoseeker

In the middleweight division of video cards we have but two contenders. Forget about the chest thumping Xabre or the some 2-bit integrated solution. When push comes to shove it comes down to shove in the 200$ price range we have only two fighters contesting for undisputed value champion. In the red corner we have the ATI 9600 XT and in the green corner we have the NVidia 5700 Ultra.

I'll easily take the 5700 anyday over the 9600xt... until the 9600xt get oc'ed, then its a different story.

*hurls on the entire fx series, then puts the 5700 ultra in backup machine, then puts 9600xt in main*

Hey- the 5950 puts the 9600xt to shame... and its relatively good competetion against the 9800xt. But just like before an oc'd 9800xt owns all

I hope so, the 5950 is nvidia's flagship card.
