Default Playing music from a DVD without having to watch the DVD

Hi! I'm new to this forum and this is probably an easy question.

I have a DVD/CD ROM combo drive. I'm running Windows XP and have a Windows Media Player as well as the newest free version of the Real Player.

How do I play the music from the DVD without having to run and/or watch the Movie from the DVD? In other words I just want to hear the music on the DVD - Not watch the movie or even have the movie running or appear.

The closest I can come is to go ahead and load the DVD/movie and just minimize the screen so I can hear the music but don't have to watch it. Running the movie takes up a lot of memory, etc.

Thanks!

you'd have to capture the sound from the movie and play it back in order to do that as far as i know
