How the hell did you get 306 i can't get anything in the 300's. 290's my highest...

its the perfect res for me and my 17 inch samsung CRT monitor
16.3 viewable or something i think

kinda small so i need res that isnt too eye straining but provides a large enough of a work area

yea that and 1024are the best for 17" crt

i find 1024 a bit too small for my lack of organization

my desktop would just clutter up with a crap load of icons if i use 1024
