Where to buy batteries

Does anyone know where to buy industrial batteries? I had Energizer Industrial batteries in a remote and they lasted about a year and a half while other batteries last less than 6 months. I was wondering where consumers might be able to buy them because it was really convenient not having batteries that start to fade after a few months forcing me to move forward to control stuff.

I don't know about the industrial batteries but you can pick up some high capacity Ni-Mh rechargable batteries. The NiMh's don't have the "memory" problems like the Ni-Cd's do. I found a place with excellent shipping speeds and prices.

i second batteryspace. usually a 4pack of 1800mA AA NiMH batteries go for like 10 bucks, at like buy.com or something, just a week or two ago i got 24 AA 2250 mA NiMH and 12 AAA (forget the amperage, but it was a good level) with shipping for like 30 bucks, give or take a buck. that's is an INCREDIBLE deal. I now have more batteries than I know what to do with, but i'll never have to wait on the charger again. (i recommend investing in a quality charger. you don't want one that doesn't support conditioning or that will overcharge your bateries. i don't know if that free one is really worth it. not saying it isn't, just don't know)
