Default Bittorent Help

I use Bit Tornado and no matter what kind of file download i always have a yellow connection which indicates that not all my ports are opened and if anyone has had this problem please tell me how to turn of firewall and/or open all my ports for Bittorent. Do i need to port forward? Because i only download at 30 max! Usually on avg. it is 1-5kbs, on a good day 30 and even that is too slow.

Please Helpppp!!!!
