Default Re: best hangover cure ?

I ran across this one last night. I have not tried it yet, but comes down a couple of generations so it must be worth something.

The story is about a guy that started a massive drinking binge on Christmas and did not stop until the end of the second week in January. He was so drunk he was paralyzed.

His friend gave him 2 teaspoons of honey every two hours for twenty-four hours. He got up and walked away stone sober and NO hangover!

taking excessive amounts of medicine with lots of alcohol in the blood is extremely dangerous. For example, taking tylenol with a high blood alcohol level causes crystillization of a number of compounds in the liver, destroying tissue in massive amounts which can and has led to death. Taking 10 tablets of unknown active ingredients with alcohol is not wise. Your best bet is to drink water before going to bed and force some food on yourself, and more water, in the morning. Apple juice is also good, b/c the body absorbs it faster than water so it might not sit on your stomach so badly. If you feel like you are going to throw up, try to stay awake for a while to let the feeling pass (using above methods), otherwise you might choke on your own barf and die. We don't want our forum members dying on us. Getting plastered is fun, but make sure you do it safely (and legally *cough*)!!

oh, and those hangover tablets are crap. You're better off with a couple advil in the morning (NOT TYLENOL)

I haven't tried this personally, but everyone I know gets Jamba Juice and they say they feel normal.
