Default Doom 3 Date Announced?

Seems that Game Stop thinks Doom 3 is shortly coming. Check out their Homepage.

Doom 3 will represent the next level gaming experience. If its anything like the demo that was "unofficially released", I for one won't be playing this game at night. The gaming community can only hope that a multiplayer version is released.

Beisdes HL2.. this is one of my most anticipated titles to come out.. great use of stencil shaders, eerie shadows, and of course, ugly/scary-ass monsters!

All I know is I barely got through the demo without the need for a new set of underwear. If the full game is as good or better, its going to give nightmares to many people and become an addiction I will need counseling to break.

Its not as though certain companies aren't known for leaking their own software. Its an excellent way of marketing, bug testing, previewing. In an unofficial way. I had the leak to, difference is I got it to work, I also got the hidden embedded levels to work as well.

lately I've been playing the original dooms on the Doomsday Engine which even has 3d model replacements for all those crappy 2d sprites. I made it through every doom there is except the last level on D2/TNT/TPTE
