Microsoft has launched a game advisor that will compare your system against the minimum and recommended system configurations and let you know if your system is capable of playing a particular game. There are massive lists by game type and the list is searchable. The results are subject to personal opinion as it lists a machine with a Pentium 4 1.5 ghz and Geforce 4 ti4600 as capable of playing Doom3. While this may be true the frame rates you will see might make game more akin to a slideshow than smooth action.

they've had a game advisor out for about a year.. but I didn't know they added doom 3 to it..

bah.. maybe it's because my cpu isn't OC'd as much as usual or it's because a 9800xt just isn't good enough.. but I didn't get to recommended.. bah. . it won't let me post a pic.. oh well
