Anyways, as to the Gainward providing a lifetime warranty, it isn't a true lifetime warranty as the BFG's is. It will only be through the life of the 6800 GT line that they carry. After that point, you'll only get a discount on the later generations (same thing with PNY). BFG, however, will give you a 100% free replacement if the card fails for as long as you have the card. Plus, BFG's support is absolutely amazing; it reminds me of Crucial's.
