like SLI.. 3dfx did it first.. now it's... well no it's not mainstream.. but it's more out there... even though it sucks..

hahaha .... very true..... also, are there any games out that would actually be able to take full advantage of dual gfx cards? personally, i think that would kinda be overkill. i mean 1 6800 gt oc would be sufficient.

i havent used it personally, but it cant be as bad as a pentium
and yeah... i used to read about the tiptronic Carrera 4's when porsche came out with them back in '98. i had no idea thats what is was though, lol, i was readin the pictures. personally, i dont care much for what big FPIII did with the 911s that year. my personal favorite is the '97 twin turbo. arena red.

I read that nvidia has to make a driver profile for a game for it to take advantage of SLI.. what a waste for games that don't have it done...

yeah, what they should do is maybe release a utility that will run a game and basically benchmark and make a profile for you.... cause their current way for 1.) it just sucks, for 2.) it is gonna be a pain, and for 3.) it is going to be time/money consuming.... more people would probably invest in sli if they did release such a utility. i know i would be more likely to.

Tiptronics have indeed been around for well over a decade, so they really aren't new. They don't own, however, they suck. Stick owns everything. It's pointless without a clutch.
