Default The Cell Processor

Sony, IBM and Toshiba unveiled further information about the Cell processor. If it lives up to the hype it will not only be an amazing chip it could be the next big consumer level chip in the market.

Did I hear you whisper the word three? Thats right there could be three solid choices for consumer level chips quite soon. I.E. 2006

Rumors spec it out at 4 cores on a single die and up to 4GHZ clock rates.

Check it out here.
