I hope this isnt already answered somewhere else, i couldnt find it.

Well anyway, i just reformated my dell windows 98 SE and got it stuck on 250 colors. I think it was 16 Bit befor or something. Pent. III I will be back on to post more info on my other computer.

Anyways i need to find my video card type and reinstall drivers, which i dont have, so i can make it 600 x 800 and 16 Bit color not 250 Colors

If you can help me thanks, as i said i will get more info on the computer in a lil bit Thanks!!!

I hope this post is in the new spot, im not on this site posting unless i need help because the questions, like mine, are not answerable by me lol

the only advice I can give you is to find out which manu makes your card (most likely nvidia or ati) and d/l the appropriate driver. you will be all set and done once you install drivers.

sorry it has been so long but thanks, i found that it was a 3dfx video card voodoo3 1.10 and i went to 3dfx.com to download the driver. I opened the comp and looked at the chip and that was that and all is good. thanks! also i have windows xp, 2000, and 2 98,s of my own. It was my friends comp and he didnt write down and print all the info befor he deleted the whole hardrive. thanks again and sorry for not posting this in hardware in the first place cherry pie
