The link was part of a pyramid scheme, like the free iPods. It wouldn't be a problem to allow links to be posted, but when it comes to spam, it can sometimes cause problems for users of this site if they follow the links, and it also opens up the flood gates for others who try to do the same thing. The particular user who posted that spam posted the same message 5 times in total, all of the others being completely deleted except for at this thread. I altered it somewhat.
