Uh, bad news buddy, I did the same thing to my Logitech MX duo keyboard. Let's just say I took it apart and I cannot get it to work anymore. Everything fits just fine, but I can't get it to even register anymore...SO $80 later at my local Best Buy, I have the Logitech LX700 cordless desktop set up with the mouse and keyboard. I'm not totally thrilled with the design as much as I was with my MX duo, but they didn't have the nice MX 5000 set that I wanted, so I just settled for this one.
