Default Alienware loading systems with Intel EE 965 Processors

Operating at up to 3.73GHz, the Extreme Edition 965 comes equipped with 2 x 2MB L2 cache to provide faster access to greater amounts of data, and features a 1066MHz front side bus to optimize system bandwidth for maximum efficiency. The processor also includes Execute Disable Bit and Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T), ensuring enhanced memory protection and enabling access to larger amounts of memory.

"Alienware systems loaded with the Extreme Edition 965 dramatically expand our customers' capacity to multitask with the blazing, ultra-threaded performance of both dual-core and Hyper-Threading technologies," said Mark Vena, Vice President of Marketing at Alienware. "From playing the latest and most demanding games
while burning a DVD to editing video while performing a virus scan, Alienware customers can do more than ever before."

Looks like Intel and manufacturers are looking to capitalize on the coming availability of Conroe. If AMD has an ace up their sleeve they are being very silent about it. Want a Dellienware?
