New Alienware P2 Case and Dual Processors Announced

Today, Alienware introduced the breakthrough P2 Full-Tower Case, Intel® Core
2 Extreme and Intel® Core 2 Duo processors on select Alienware desktop systems.

You can bet that these Alienware systems are going to be the newest Bad Boys on the block considering the performance of conroe and the reputation of Alienware for tweaking its systems to the point of delivering whiplash.

MIAMI - July 27, 2006 - Alienware® -- the leading manufacturer of high-performance desktop, notebook, media center and professional systems -- has introduced the breakthrough new Alienware P2 Full-Tower Case on select desktop systems, including the Area-51® 7500, Area-51 ALX, Aurora 7500, and Aurora ALX. The Area-51 7500 and Area-51 ALX feature the new Intel® Core 2 Extreme and Intel® Core 2 Duo processors.
In addition, select Alienware notebooks, including the popular new Area-51 m5750 and Area-51 m5550, will be powered by the new Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor when it becomes available later in third quarter.

Looks like their lineup even includes the much awaited mobile version of the Core 2 as well. We can't wait to get a hold of one of these systems.
