Please don't tell me that someone put a motherboard on a carpet floor. Anyone want to rate the chance that that motherboard is now in static hell?

I don't think it's dead really, there are more overclocking related products out there than ever before. Though I agree it isn't as neccessary as it once was, especially for the higher end chips.

In my opinion, when it comes to the high end chips and video cards it's not even worth overclocking. However when it comes to lower end chips then have at it, because sometimes it can be just too easy.
