Default bit-tech News: Monster 10 Page Crysis Review

Is Crysis a great game? Yes, in fact it's better than that. It's a fantastic game and you'll have a lot of fun playing it. Should you play it? Yes, but maybe wait a little bit if you haven't got the hardware to handle it straight away so that the right tools can come out to enable your enjoyment.

Is Crysis revolutionary? Kind of. Is it a game of the year contender for me? Unfortunately not. Any other year, definitely yes, but this year there has some stiff competition and games like BioShock and Episode Two have to take precedence in my eyes. The most telling thing I think is that I'm actually getting tired of talking about the game, although I still have things to say. That’s something which doesn't happen with other games, such as (yes, I'll point to it again) BioShock or Episode Two.

Let down by a poorly told story and gameplay which isn't as fantastic as the graphics and hype would have you to believe, Crysis is a classic example of something which has a lot of trouser but not enough...um, nevermind. Because of that it just gets pipped at the post and misses the final hurdle.

Doubtlessly you'll pick yourself up a copy as soon as you can run it, as well you should because despite my negativity this isn't an unfavourable review. When you do play it you'll probably disagree with me, but the more you play I think the closer you'll get to my point of view. If not then, well, that’s what the forums are for.
