Default Cut this one!

I did it. finally cut out those @#*§!ers.
what i am talking about are the "standard fan grills" (a few far too little drilled holes in the casing). I´ve read that replacing them with real fan grills could in some CASES (little word game) increase airflow up to 60%. I knew they had to be cut. So i got hold of the "dremel professional" and some reinforced cutting wheels, removed everything that had been in the case (those little metal chips produced while cutting could be death to your hardware very quick) and started cutting the metal @25000 rpm (soon i knew why eyeprotection is important, when some parts of a cutting wheel passed by about 5 cm of my left eye with several hundred miles per hour*g*. I cut two 8 cm fan holes in the upper rear of my case , one in the lower rear(for cpu exhaust) and one in the lower front for intake, can be seen here: http://www.voidedwarranty.netfirms.c...ges/002-03.jpg.
et voila, after reassambling my system, idle and load temps were about 2°C lower than before.
Not much compared to about 4 hours of work and my room messed up like after a bombing, but it helped me to hit the 1.2ghz
My conclusion: i want you all to take a dremel and cut your case into pieces for better airflow ;D
