Connection Teaming

Has anyone ever tried to use two network cards together using connection teaming?  I want to use it for something but i cannot find any good software to use.  DOes anyone have any ideas?

Well, my friend got back to me and he gave me some news that might not be too favorable to you.  What he did was that he bought two Intel NIC cards and downloaded the software from Intel's website.  From there, he said it was pretty easy doing the setup from the software.  Unfortunately, he doesn't know if there is software out there to help configure non-Intel NICs.  What brand are your NICs?

I forgot to mention that the brand that he bought were the Intel PRO 100 Managment Series NIC cards.  He got it at Compgeeks.com for $8 a pop.  I've managed to do a search for Connection Teaming software and I found that they do exist...except for the fact that they're kind of expensive.  Here are some companies I was able to find...

Midcore.com with thier Midpoint software.
Vicomsoft.com with SurfDoubler.

I think it would be better to buy the two Intel NIC cards since you can get the software free.  Unfortunately, I can't find anything on the web with that kind of a price tag on the NICs.  The lowest price I found for the NICs was $20 each.  Of course, that isn't very much compared to the software alone that you would have to purchase separately if you decided to keep your NICs and by just the software itself.

I have two Netgear ethernet cards.

I found some great software for the connection teaming.  It has lots of options and you can actually team any kind of net connection.

Hehe...looks like we submitted a post at the same time.  I saw Midcore's software and thought it was pretty impressive.  I might give that a try if some extra money happens along my way.
