help!!!

can anyone help me!? ok this is the thing, i was playing a game when i exited out of it all of my icons looked like they only were using 256 colors! i cant get them back to how they were.  The settings are told to be 32 bit color. its beginning to piss me off  >

Okay try this first.  It may not help and you'll have to change anything you've done to your default desktop (like wallpaper and fonts on windows)  Right click on you're desktop, select properties.  Goto the apperance tab and under theme's pull up the Windows 98 standard (I'm of course assuming you're using 9.  Don't know if this will do the trick but it does help for some things.  Good Luck.

Or you may have to right click on desktop, select properties, then click settings, there  reset the colors to whatever you wish.
Some games often have their own drivers and will reset your screen resolution and colors to suit the game. Older games should never be played on new machines.

i'm running win2kpro btw, and i've played this game many times and have had no problem before.
