Q3 required openGL drivers to install for W98, otherwise it didn't run properly, openGL doesn't have support for XP for sure, but I'm not sure it's required for GF2 ...
but starcraft, TA - these games make no use of graphics acceleration, so probably simply wouldn't run under XP (pretty old, but damn good games)
I don't know much about XP, but certain things (especially games with heavy graphics), probably wouldn't work properly or at all, just like under W2K.
Is there any way you can get W98, most of games would be 100% OK

Cheers
Chef

what type of problems did you have on your other comp? it might be hardware probs there. try windows update.

There's an option for most vehicles that increases brake horsepower, increases mileage, increases driver control, lasts longer than the alternative, and even reduces the price of the vehicle. Despite all this, most people in this country choose the alternative, an automatic transmission.

thats what i got, and thats what dont work

nothin ive done so far has helped...so i have a theory, you know how there is a "restore factory defaults" button... well, i assume there is a file controling that, i also assume therefore, there is a way to *change* the factory defaults so that the comp thinks that the new stuff is the fac defaults. the reason i think this'd work is because whenever i run a game in which the gamma is dark, it reverts to the factory defaults. now i just need to know how to do this...

(btw, the reason im usin a dif account is cause it wont take my password )
