so nobody sees a problem with mods deleting other mods posts? i thought that they didn't have that authority......

i certainly wouldn't disrespect another mod by doing that.... at least unless the other mod said something completely offensive or used profanity..... other than that i see a problem.....

by the way it would be nice if we had a staff/mod/admin only forum to discuss problems like this

ive edited one of keefes posts before...its no biggie so long as you dont change it...but I agree Vee was overstepping a bit

posts should be edited for content and spam...

for example

if some idiot comes along and just goes F@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CKF@CK
for the whole post...delete it

if its spam delete it.....

if its a repeat topic...lock it and leave note of another topic.....

dont delete other peoples stuff

now lay off cherry shes put work into the site and its important that we keep her shes a good worker and a good friend of mine...vee...show some respect and dont delete posts that dont need to be deleted.....

Just for the common edification, the thread had started to go OT with a single post (by Cannon, I believe) that was asking about pictures of cherry. There were no following posts at the time, showing no reason for it to stay, so I deleted it. Soon after there were a couple more posts for it, and when I had seen them, I had deleted them. By the time the page refreshed after they had been deleted, there was a new post, by cherry, which was completely out of context because of the degree to which the OT topic had digressed. In case you were wondering, I hadn't deleted your post for the hell of it, but because the new topic was already being deleted and your post would have appeared idiotically out of place.

I do agree that there should be a staff forum for stuff like this.

Thanks, Pro, for the lesson. Maybe you should practice that, too. But I guess you are right; since she is your friend, it is better that I lay off of her, especially since it is me on the offense. Smooth... Seriously, folks.

pro is right.. those leprechans aren't so dumb afterall.. The only posts that should be deleted are and vulgarity or other unappropriate trash... deleting everything that is even remotely off topic alienates users pretty quickly...
even though your intentions are good, I don't see anyone thanking you for doing it...
