Agreed but I would like to hear how it works out. Thats pretty interesting. i would like to have pics of that and specs to put on the web site.

I would also.  I mean, the experiment has been started, I'm curious now.  Its always good to have alternatives, who knows, you might need to do an emergency heatsink change, and have nothing but your overnight kit and a screwdriver.  Oh, and your towel.

I have always wondered what the first guy was thinking when he looked at a lobster and said:  "I'm gonna eat that!"  A brave man indeed. ;D  So I gotta ask you, what possessed you to attempt this experiment?  Please understand, I'm not being critical, I'm just really curious. ???

I tried it because real heatsink compound sort of feels like toothpaste and i thought it would be worth a try since i was tired of having my cpu underclocked.

that's pretty crazy!  i like it though...yeah i wanted in on pics as well, but thats ok.  Also, tell us when the toothpaste lets up on ya, it would be nice to know the longitivety of the paste.  I gotta ask, what kinda toothpaste do you use.  I ask these kinda question because i am kinda weird, trust me i have had my fair share of comments...

I used Colegate, Baking Soda & Peroxide
Whitening with Tartar control.... With a brisk mint taste.
