heres what i d/l .. apache 2.039, php 4.2.2 installer and mysql 3.23.51win

does mysql have a gui; if so i have no idea where it is; also after i try to install php with apache it says that there was a error and i have to configure apache manually - doh

i tried a simple php file and i got a error; something to do with apache; id appreciate it if someone can give me a rin through over this weekend so i can get things working (i have a paper due thursday for my art history summer class)

i feel like such a newb

You could always take the short cut to installing PHP/MySQL/Apache on Windows...

Try either;

ahh yes good everyones pro php, asp is the devil. ( microsoft, eww )
