I guess I should of specified(but it seems most people realized this) they do need to run. I don't care if it's your old computer sitting in your closet, if it will boot, I want to know about it

Oh, if anyone's curious, I have 31 computer, my dad has 3, and my brother had 1. So 35 computers here(and more parts then I know what to do with!)

I sell off the slow turds and build 1-2 kick ass machines, I cannot stand running anything under 1.2ghz. or that does not have a 266 fsb.

In that case I do not really know
30-40 and bunch of old parts.

add a 486 to my list then.. its just sitting on the fridge freezer in the garage, o, and i have sinclair spectrum 128 ZX+2 in my cupboard, and another 1% broken laptop (CMOS cable has came out of solder)

I don't think a study of people posting at a technical forum is going to result in very conclusive analysis, though (unless you were doing a study of how many computers people who post at a technical forum have in their home).

We also have like a late sixties or early seventies Radio Shack comp that boots off of its 5 1/4 floppy drive!
