Hi again,
Ok... I just turned 31 geeez. I am originally italian and it is almost 5 years I am living in England.....that explains my poor english

. I am into web and graphic design.
Enough about me I already see people falling asleep

.
My PC setup:
- OS: Win XP SP1
- PSU: Q-Tec 400w
- MB: MSI - K7N2 Delta (nforce chipset)
- CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2600+
- RAM: 1 Gb Kingston ( 2 x 512Mb)
- Video Card: Leadtek - Geforce 4 128 Mb
- HD1: Seagate 30 gb
- HD2: Maxtor 60 gb
The problem:
This problem has been haunting me since a year already. Basically what happens is that it randomly powers down. No warning, it just shuts off.
I can't restart it unless I take out the power cable for a few seconds.
Since I had this problem I found a little solution to it and it is placing a huge desk fan in front of the open PC case. This solution works 95% of the times, because sometimes the PC still powers off.And to be honest recently I have noticed the problem is getting worse.
Obviously the desk fan cannot be a permanent solution. So since these power off problems, I have bought a new motherboard and CPU. Worked fine without desk fan for about 2 weeks. After that it started powering off again....so here I am again with my huge desk fan

, asking for help.
I was so sure that by changing the motherboard and the cpu that I would free myself from this problem. But since that didn' t help, now I don't want to go randomly buying other new PC components before I have a good idea of what the problem could be.
I hope somebody can help.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
