Default AOL :( i no

Ok i am trying to get my friend set up to the internet again and he cant get cabel or dsl where he lives i no he should move...so the only other solution was AOl so he got the 9.0 disc anc everything but everytime we try to install it, it says that there is a error...here is what pops up


Setup caused in a general protection fault in
module SETUP.exe at 0002:29C2


ne one know whats wrong with it, and how to fix it?

ewwww there should be other options than aol....

lol i've never helped anyone install aol before..... always try to steer em away from it..... i only help uninstall when they come to their senses....

netzero, 10 bucks a month. just a little toolbar, not too intrusive. i used it for about a year.

if she's already paid for it, call AOL. make them handle it, work for the money she already gave 'em.

it's an error that's kinda difficult to diagnose. Maybe a virus, corrupted swap file, I dunno

thats what i think... i tryed running norton on it and avg and it said that there was nothing wrong with it
