treo 600, stupid question?

Just got it as a gift, how can you tell if its unlocked or not?

it sort of answers the question, the phone comes with some rogers stuff (sim card etc) but it seems to me that it was just placed in there for promotion. So I was still wondering how to know if its locked or not. What would happen if I put the rogers sim card in?

if you put the rogers sim in it should allow you to have it activated as being uhm belonging to rogers (lol can you tell i am not good with cell phone terminology?)


hm.... if it has a rogers sim i think it may only work with rogers and i think fido..... they are gsm as far as i know and most other providers are on a different system (you may want to double check that tho)
