Default LAN PARTY UT nF3 vs. Asus K8V SE Deluxe

I've had my eye on the K8V SE Deluxe for a while, and someone recently advised me to buy a DFI instead, claiming they are better quality and better suited for overclocking. I'm not really worried about overclocking or the UV stuff on the board. If anyone has history in DFI here, and could compare the two boards, I'm open for suggestions.

I usually like asus, but they suck at making a64 boards... get the dfi... and worry about overclocking.. it's good for you

i have the dvi and oc it with no difficuy. It has more features than any board ive seen. gigabit, 4 native sata(so you can use a sata without drivers), nVidia hardware firewall (i never use it), and great customer support.

customer support isn't a board's feature.. you don't get less support if you have a diff dfi board..

ASUS support, however, is the worst I have ever seen from anyone in any industry.. nothing compares to how bad they are at support, other than what's on the website.

I'd go with the DFI board also. I had the pleasure to do a socket 754 motherboard round-up some time ago and the ASUS K8V Deluxe I tested turned out to be one of the lesser appealing boards.
