Does anyone know of any good Napster alternatives? I have done some work with Gnutella...but that i really slow and really crappy. I do not recomend it for anyone! Anyways, which ones has everybody used are what are you expiriences with them?

Try Music City!! They have a program called "morpheus", it's similar to Napster

For the longest time I was trying to remember what the name of this site I wanted to tell you about geekgirl. Thanks for reminding me teacher447! Yup, I heard that Music City is pretty good. Although, I haven't tried them myself yet.

Anyone think Napster will make a come back. I was a huge
user but now it kinda sux :'(

nope...napster is dead forever!!
Just look..about three months a go there was a peak at over 4000 gigs of mp3s total...now there is only 200-300 gigs...
Everybody is goign to icqster or aimster

I like the news groups but not any thing like Napster at all. You have to hope someone uploads what you want and if your isp is ok maybe you wil have a day or two to get it . :'(

YES. Kazaa, Limewire, and gnotella are all very good alternatives to Napster. Plus you can also get software and other files besides music.

I kinda like Limewire, if you dont mind dealing with some of the connections that dont work. but its a great sharing utility

Has anyone ever tried WinMX.com's client program? I heard it's pretty good too.
