Being a very optimistic person, I would think that since Nintendo has said that they won't sell over $250...then selling it at $249.99 would make their statement silly, I say go $200

it wouldn't make it silly... it would make it accurate. It won't be $200 for at least a while after it launches - especially if it's successful.

On one side you have the everyday inflation, while on the other side you have the widespread of certain chips. Take Plasma TV's or even DVD Player, years ago the cost 3 to 4 times the price that they are now and the Wii is said (and proud ) to not be using new super powerful hardware, but rather things that already existed (and then gave it the Nintendo charm.)
So...although it's optimistic, I say 200$ would make everyone happy, and be bought by every human being on the planet...or maybe not.

Well now, I have an added question to this, just wondering not only how much do you think they will charge, but how much do you think it is worth? Is any game system worth that much?

Well depends worth for whom. Microsoft did loose a set amount of money (50-100 if I remember correctly) PER console, so they're hope is that people will buy apparels and multiple games. Sony has a very powerful console, which ends up once again making them loose money per console, but other hand, a Blu-ray reader alone will normally cost $1000...so technically, one would be saving money if they bought a PS3....
As for the Wii, early reports from developpers estimated that the net worth of the machine itself was around $100 to $150; albeit it could be more, as they might not have been aware of all the new changes, it seems that Nintendo's price range will make them break even.
