D-Link Makes List of 100 Worlds Best Companies
D-Link Breaks Into the BusinessWeek/Info Tech 100 List of World's Best Public Companies
Computer networking giant D-Link has made the prestigious list of Business Week's Info Tech 100 for 2007.
To qualify for annual listing of the most productive worldwide organizations, each company must generate at least $300,000 in total revenue (sales and operating) and provide outstanding return on equity, ample shareholder return and consistent revenue growth.
By meeting all the criteria (D-Link total revenue was $1.28 billion; $1.2 billion in 2005), the company ranked in the top 10 list in the Best Return category (next to Amazon and Priceline.com, 99th overall on the list that includes HP, Verizon, Oracle, Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Nintendo and Microsoft.
Founded nine years ago, The Info Tech list is a product of Business Week, whose editors and financial experts also consider the ability of global companies to adjust to fast-changing market needs and remain competitive in their respective markets.
