The reason I mention this is because I am an avid penny arcade fan. For those of you who do not know,
Penny Arcade is one of the top gamer oriented web comics, large enough to host one of the largest gaming conventions in the US, Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX.
Today marks the release of
On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One, Penny Arcade's first game. A few years back they decided to, instead of purely talking about the gaming industry, they would take a stab at making a game. I have yet to play is, as it is currently downloading to my machine right now, but I will probably be writing up a short review later this week or next. Either way, I highly recommend checking it out, or googling for some other reviews online.
The game is available for purchase and download (a demo is available for download too, but I have not checked it out, as I wanted to simply dive in and shell out the cash for the full game) at
playgreenhouse.com. The game is computable with Windows, Linux, and Mac, and is even available on XBLA.
