I think its 3 gig uploads and downloads from your computer in a month, after which they charge you alot of money per meg, not sure how much but i think its 0.18.
telstras ADSL costs about AUD75.00 a month, and get this there speeds are often (re: nearly all the time) slower than dialup.
And because they wholesale the copperlines to other ISPs not that much cheaper than they retail them to consumers, noone can compete with them.
ADSL rollout in australia has been the running joke of the last year. What could have been a technical triumph is a absolute ripoff.
the support sucks, the speeds are a joke, and the pricing is stupid. They charge $75 for 3gig, where as if they increased it to 15gig and charged $100 they would get heaps more subscribers....*sigh*...someone will do something soon hopefully.
