Default Toshiba Satellite 5005 Uses - Plz read!

A class action suit has been filed in TN against Toshiba on behalf of users of the Satellite 5005-S504 laptop computer. Persons owning one of these computers are encouraged to contact the Law Firm Gilreath & Associates of Knoxville, TN. www.sidgilreath.com

In addition to TN, similar suits have been filed in FL and CA. Users in those states should contact the attorneys involved there.

The suit addresses issues with the Toshiba Satellite 5005-S504 laptop crashing because of the use of desktop CPU's instead of moble CPU's in the laptops.

Toshiba put Intel desktop 1.1 Ghz processors in them instead of using moble processors. The processors would get hot and would cause the laptop to suddenly shut down, reboot, or completly crash. To fix the problem, Toshiba released a BIOS update that changed the clock settings of processor to run at only 500Mhz.

When users of the laptop demanded their money back, Toshiba refused. Now they are getting sued.
