casemod changing

lets say i have some boring beige box


i want it to have a case that is meant for cooling?

but i am too lazy (excuse for not knowing how) to move it into a new case

is there a place i can send it to to get it installed into a different ccase

or at the least a place that will do a case mod job on it for me???

the point of modding is to do it yourself
and see how good you can do

alot of people just want performance and the look of a modded case

not everyone has spare time to spend on projects and some dont have the access to the power tools or a proper room to work in

:/ Hmm, If you don't want to get nasty with your boring box coz ur too damn lazy to do it, buy urself a "good" box, the box that is #1 for you.

The following step would require you to pump-up your self confedence in porting what you have in ur old boring case to ur #1 case.

Unplug/Disconnect all wires/cables that are connected ;
** try to RECORD the orientation of the cables
1. From ur case to your motherboard. (HDDLED, PWRLED,BEEPER, etc.)
2. From PSU (Power Supply) to ur motherboard & Disk drives (Floppy,HD,Zip, etc)
3. From Motherboard to HD, floppy
4. Unscrew all Peripherals (so that you can remove it, such as AGP Card, PCI Card)
** at this point you must have remove all of pheriperals and only the motherboard and the PSU connected to the case.
5. Unscrew and remove the HD, Floppy,Zip, etc.
6. Unscrew and remove the motherboard, do the same to the PSU
** at this point all the stuff that you have inside your old boring case is outside your old boring case. Set aside the boring case and get the #1 case.
** the next step is stuffing it back to the #1 case. Refer to ur "RECORD" regarding the orientation.
** REMEMBER IF it doesnt fit in there, its not ment to be in there, it's good that computers are "idiot proof".
7. Fit & screw the MOBO into the new case, don't over tightened the screw.
8. Fit & screw the HD, Floppy, CD, Zip, etc into their respective bays.
9. Fit & screw the PSU
10 Fit all cables that connects to the HD,Floppy,CD,Zip,etc
11. Fit the cables that connects the MOBO & the Case (HDDLED,PWRLED,etc)
12. Fit the power cables. "Remind you of the orientation"
** youve done it I guess.

Recheck the connection and power on!
