Well if you dont think you can convince them, get your dad or something to talk to them about it. I know that if I were apart of the FAA, I would take this matter seriously and not hang up.

hmm

actualy there are many things that are dangerous on a plane too

even the knife for meals is often sharp enough for stick it at someone's throat and poses a great threat

some airlines offers shavers which have sharp blades also

but all these can be stopped
maybe with a sacrafice but the rest will stop the terrorists

a bomb, unlikely to be stopped
usually it is too late

ss is right, get ur dad in this
im sure he will help you out if he agrees with you

I havent been on a plane in a long time and i can think of many items of possing threat such as:
head phones (wire around captain's neck)
coke cans (razor sharp) [as mentioned]
shoe lace (choking captain as well)
9V and Steel wool w/ can o hair spray (fire hazard)
2 C batts and a paperclip (will burn hot!)
shavers (razors)
colonge bottle (if broken will slice threw skin)
small, unthought of things...
