mod chips

what are they?

little add on chips for gaming consoles

often popular in PS1 and PS2

for playing "backed up" games and CDs
and DVDs

so basicaly it is semi-illegal although there is no actual law forbidding it

the recent controversial microsoft's mod chip action has sure grabbed alot of attention lately

how do i get/install one?

if you just do a search on "mod chip" in google, it will give you almost infinite results...

there are internal and external ones
external ones are easy to install as most are plug&play

most internal ones need soldering
some dont
but you still have to open up the box and "hack" it

but before you do that, let the electricity run out of it
ground the whole thing so u wont get shocked or damage the console or any other equipments
