ack! phpBB help!!!!

ok, i'm the admin for a new board. i try to add myself an avatar, and i get this error:

CHmod /avatars to 777

don't worry about the headers, that's probably cause the permission denied error (it's a http protocol thing and quite complicated)

ok, so what does that mean. what am i supposed to do?

there is a line in the code that says:

@chmod('./' . $board_config['avatar_path'] . "/$new_filename", 0777);


do i change the 0777 to 777?

ok, a changed the chmod on the file to 777, and it still doesnt work. ahhh!

no no no. go into your ftp, and chmod the avatars directory itself to 777

dammit, i sooo had that one !
