Default Free Wireless Internet Access

Some of you might have heard that McDonald's will be giving you an hour of wireless net access when you buy a combo meal. Only problem is that you need to be in Manhattan and two other areas to get it. Now, only if I had a notebook comp.

Here is a link talking about it

McWireless...that's great.

Anyway, I also thought it was great that half the article is talking about Intel's launch of its new wireless packages (which, on another note, I think is dumb...they make it out to sound revolutionary, but it's just 802.11b, as far as I can tell). Then, in the middle of the article, is the ad for Netgear wireless stuff. Anyway. I'm leaving.

True, I think this was part of the roll out of Centrino by Intel. I think Intel is supplying the gear for McDonald's.
