Life today is so simple yet the people who inhabit this life are so fucking dumb. Here in life human beings are no longer the wonder of evolution they were intended to be. We have changed from butt scratching flea-infested monkeys to something worse. This change occurred over about 200 years. Which relative to the time our evolution took is nothing. The change that occurred is information speed. Since the invention of the pony express, the telegram system, phones, and email commercialism existed. Think about it. The power to inform an army of people the instant a product is available. Our society has transformed us into objects that can be bought and sold. People are now commodities. Big companies now refer to us as,” the consumer” and they
Manipulate and destroy any and all sense of security we have. They tell you to eat fattening snacks then depict models with perfect bodies that have many friends and a cool house. The truth is this doesn’t happen. Same with other things. They depict wearing a pair of expensive Gucci Sunglasses (100$) will make you look attractive with something that costs 30$ to make.
There are Millions of products that can kill. There are tens of millions of products that are useless and are not needed for us to survive at all and are merely impulse purchases. Then there are the millions of products we do need to survive. Medicines, food, housing, money unfortunately. But the number of products we DON’T need greatly out weighs our needs. Rolex watches, Designer clothes, fast cars, computers. There is no way that these objects would ever be a necessity in life. All of those products are dumb purchases that you need if you DON’T want to be a social outcast.
Our uptight baby boomer parents have shielded us from the truth and turned us into Cult objects, they have a child fetish and is not logical. Up until the 1960’s color of our skin mattered. Now it’s what brand of clothing covers our skin.
We have all heard the argument about elected officials. They may not be very smart. But shit do they have a lot of money, or boy they are popular (in the case of ASB elections.) So the problem is the dumb illogical nominees get elected and the ones that would of changed America for the better are booted out. Thank fully a few people in this world are smarter. No not book smart, not GPA % not relating to school at all. For many of you who are reading this Manifesto here's a new word to add to your dictionary. Ethical Compass Unfortunately a small % of the world has a very accurate one. Basically is decides for you what is right and wrong north and south.
These problems with commercialism exsists in elections too. Most politicians are a mask behind the real workers speech writers campaign planners and those who donate money. But the thing is these nominees mostly cant work on their own. Elections are won right now on the system of popularity and money to campaign. The plans are then figured out later. At this point you probably are shaking your head and saying this guy is a crock of shit. Take some time to think about it. Look at your clothes notice the labels. Go to a mall or the internet look at the price of things. Watch TV and observe how each commercial shows slim sexy people eating crap and showing crap off too impress you.
