I beleive that there are not many obscenities on these boards.  Most of the bad obscenities are filtered out by the moderators.  If it becomes a big problem a filtering system can be implemented, however, many users consider this as an act towards internet censorship.

I will have the moderators monitor the posts more closely and remove bad obscenities.

ya know, i´m 18 years old (for myself i´m still some sort of big child) and the past 2 years, i´ve been punk (those guys with the funny haircuts that know the *+~@€ best swearwords of all. please try to understand me, i dunno how old ya all are, ´cause nobody except of me writes it into his/her ID, but i think the ppl especially of my age have developed some strange kind of community that has it´s own language. Words like woot, hax0r or kewl belong to this language like the bad f-word and lots ´o´ other swearwords. IMHO
PS: I don´t wanna sound childish (but maybe i am), but nobody complained before, am i wrong. maybe i´m wrong again, but whizbones, you don´t seem to like my style, eh?
;D

PPS: I fully take responsibility for this f|_||< ! |\|´ Post.
PPPS: sorry, the lill punk inside me is some sort of running   amokk

Well PRoZaK,

Age really has nothing to do with it. I use very fowl language when hangin with my friends telling stories etc.

I use the work kewl, koowell, and many others that I'm sure you do to. But if you want to post in a board where people are asking for assistance, it's your job to show a level of professionalism and good character.

In your own time, hangin with the crew what ever you can be just you and say what ever you like. There is a time and place for everything.

Punk, Character, Jerk, Dope, Idiot, Cool Bro, Red Neck, Hill Billy, what ever we are doesn't really matter. Keep in mind that not all people talk the way we do and here it is better to clean up a bit rather than offend. I like it here as many others do, so I do my best not to push anyone away with my gestures, words, personal feelings and the like.

Don't look for excuses to use obscenities, as I always say the Maximum effective range of an excuse is zero point zero meters. You are a smart young guy I can tell by your posts. Just leave out the adjectives you so much like to use. We'll still know it's you, trust me.

IMHO- using obscenities in any language, any country, anytime in public ( public forum ) is considered a violation to all principles of decency. Certainly not a ' rule of the road '.
Some use it on here simply because they can. If you look at the poll " How old are you ? " just a few threads down, you will see that the majority posting ( voting in polls ) are 10-20. Looking further the majority of those are under 16.  They can get on here and use words they can't use at the family supper table. This may enhance their self esteem since no one here knows who they are. Just like hiding the playboy and penthouse magazines under their mattress. Most are not even yet old enough to have a drivers license, yet they may have convinced the administrators thus far- not to filter.
What language one uses in private - not public- is certainly his own business, right and privilige, but one should consider the rights of others in public. Don't forget, your rights end where mine begin.
You are not going to find many- hardly any, forums where some type of obscenity filtering isn't used and all for good reason.
