Default aim+ is startin to get on my nerves..

well i use aol instant messanger and aim+ because more then one person at my house has a screen name. Every time i log onto aol it asked me to upgrade, so i finally did.

now my aim+ hardly works at all. When i talk for like 5 or 10 minutes i get a C++ error and it automatically signs off. if i sign back on it jus comes up more often untill i give up.

DO i have some setting wrong or somethin?

not sure what you mean by 'cloned' but you can have multiple screennames, and you can choose to share the same buddy lists or keep them separate with the pro version at least. With the free version, the buddy lists are automatically shared.
