Default mode chip pf ps2

[size=18][color=darkblue]Hey i was wondering where i could get a mode chip for my ps2. And where i could a program to run it on

ne info will help alot thanks


i was also wondering if it was hard to install them thx

http://www.mod-chip.com/ is the only one I know of and you better be careful... more and more sites are closing down cause sony has an eye on these things... So I woulnt suggest buying one

cannon, it is very difficult to install these things. the size of the soldering area is MINUTE. I mean, really really small. You also have to use a special soldering iron to not short your board. there are about 21 solders to make on the PS2 itself, and that many on the chip you buy. Not an easy project by any means. you are looking at 100 bucks for a soldering iron of high enough quality to handle the job. may not be worth it if you kill your ps2
