Default Using old Memory

Well I have an old computer that I took apart for parts, which had been used for a good 3 years probably. I was wondering if i could use the old memory stick too, or is memory untransferable to other computers? Im not really sure if anything or what is saved to it, any help?

depends

chances are its SDD ram
if it is you are very limited

other wise if its DDR then you can pop it in to most mobo's today

simple answer - probably, but it's most likely a lot slower

no.. it is probably a much slower speed, bringing down the speed of everything basically... your comp might not even support it. No hurt in trying though

if your mobo supports only ddr, they sell sd ram adapters online, but then again the drawback is loss of speed, just like mentioned above
