Default Intel 536EP v.92 Modem HELP WITH ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE

I have an Intel 536EP v.92 Modem and it comes with extra software like FAXTALK CallerID and NETWAITING (or MODEM ON HOLD) features. I have no trouble with my FAXTALK Caller ID recognizing my modem but my NETWAITING REFUSES to recongize my modem. I have tried UNINSTALLING (including PHYSICALLY unstalling my modem) then REINSTALLING it THEN install the software as well as just installing the software BUT NOTHING seems to be working. PLEASE HELP ME!

I HAVE contacted INTEL support and they told me to contact the manufacturer. I found out the manufacturer DID NOT include a necessary template with the DRIVER of the modem. That's how I got to looking for any software that came with my modem and I got a hold of FAXTALK. NOW I have the software but I can't get it to ackowledge my modem.

Install the necessary template or driver and it will be recognized. I suggest you do a search www.google.com for the driver and location/installation information. It may be necessary that you manually install the information into the registry for the software to recognize the hardware.

why do you have to use the registry? Can't you just install em with some exe? or use the add hardware wizard

OK, I never thought about the registry until the OTHER JASON mentioned it. I think I've got it worked out now though, I'm about to test it and see.
